A MEANINGFUL
PROJECT

CAF approached us with an offer of collaboration in the creation of an explanatory video about one of the initiatives they develop: Cities with a Future.

The project invites and collaborates with citizens and institutions to transform cities in order to improve the quality of life of all its inhabitants.

By focusing on social inclusion and the environment, it aims to facilitate access to opportunities so that all Latin American citizens can achieve their dreams and aspirations.

THE VIDEO CONCEPT

WRITE YOUR FUTURE

The future does not exist. Yet. we build it step by step, every day, each and every one of us. As if we were filling in the pages of a book to be written.

If we want change, what really matters is intention. The transformation depends on the attitude of everybody.

That is why projects such as “Cities with a Future of CAF” have a future. Because they started writing for a better tomorrow, yesterday.

VISUAL TRANSLATION

The story takes place in a book that is being written as the pages are being turned.

Because the city we want is written every day. We fill in the pages towards a better future.

LOOK & FEEL

Dioramas and urban scenes

They place us in the key environment and give us literal references to the script.

Key Items / Objects

They describe ideas / Concepts from the script that we want to communicate in a clear and direct way.

Simple characters but with character

With few elements the idea of diversity in the population is transmitted.

TONE, RHYTHM, LANGUAGE

The tone of the audiovisual is descriptive and reflective with a constructive and vitalist intention.

It relies on the positive side and the solutions, not on the problems and the more dramatic part.

The cadence is, mostly, a very dynamic one. The result of sights and sounds combined with the descriptions of the locution is rich and energetic.
The language is clear and direct. The message is what has to be retained in the viewier’s mind.

A variety of shots and situations are sought. From detailed shots to general ones where dioramas, key elements, characters in action and large settings are presented.

A diversity of transitions and visual tricks are proposed to enrich and enhance the dynamism of the piece.

VISUAL LANGUAGE

TRANSFORMATION IN MOVEMENT

The idea of change and transformation that CAF projects is transmitted through the combination of several elements.

Objects or constructions can appear out of nowhere, the scenario can change with a flip movement or we can see it with the effect of turning the page of the book.
