It represents the life-force and energy of the audience of Voot. It sparks emotion, creates excitement, and cuts through the noise. In terms of application, it is a contrasting colour palette, confident tone of voice, and elegant motion language.
SIMPLE
To be simple is to be straight-forward and without complication. It seems obvious, but TV is inherently complicated and it’s much easier to add features than it is to take them away. From the usability of the experience all the way through to the payment structure, simplicity is important to keep in mind to ground the other two principles.

In the context of brand promotions using characters, the image transposes to the brand universe. We recommend exclusive photoshoots with the actors with a strong one-directional light on the left of the face, and with a dark background. Minimal, premium, and contemporary, this wordmark distinguishes itself from the mother brand through its form, while being intimately connected with the core brand ethos through subtle gradients and rounded edges. It is a visual translation of the brand proposition to provide the best digital content for a discerning audience.
The composition highlights the sub-brand through contrast in size. The sans-serif wordmark transmits the sense of distinction while the gradient translates the core brand idea of illumination.
